If you look at my wiring diagram, I still need to get to the back of the H/U to connect the REM connecting cable. Where on the back of the H/U does this REM based cable connect please? Just like my previous comment about the speaker cables..."The fascia is apparently a very long winded job...

Thanks for replying Doxquzme. It's a InPhase Active Subwoofer and rather than clogging up the forum with more gumph and images, page 2 has the configuration and some images. Hope this helps. Thank you.

Hello All again. Hope this post finds you all well. This little project had to go on hold (as explained) but hopefully soon will all go ahead. Just one question please:- The speaker cables coming out of the SW will travel along the side of the car and into the HU. But I don't know what...

But the amp/SW will be getting power all the time from the battery/yellow cable?

As you can see in the numbered cable image, No.4 will not be long enough to travel from the SW to the HUnit, so please, what cable do I need to purchase to extend cable No.4 from the SW to splice into the back of the HUnit?

Yet again, thanks for your expertise and time. If the yellow cable is coming direct from the battery, will that mean the amp/SW be on all the time and therefore drain the battery please?

Looking at the numbered cables in the attached image:- 1 Yellow cable with fuse, goes from the battery to the terminal 12V. 2 Blue and White cable, goes from the back of the HU to the terminal REM. 3 Black Cable, goes from some bare metal to the terminal GND. 4 Grey/White/Black cables, block in...

Thanks for replying 1aespinoza. Apologies, IOC means LOC (I have edited it ;)). The speakers are in the rear doors, so best to splice into the back of the HU and run along the car, along side the yellow power cable from the battery? Amongst the cables given is the one shown in the attached...

I am a bit confused now. Do I need an LOC or not please? Some are saying no because the Active S/W has an LOC already built in.

Thanks Doxquzme for your reply. I am UK based and can't get the Kicker at a cheap price. I am not after loud super clear audio, just a more bassy sound to enhance the factory audio set up. Hence, keeping it cheap.
