Do you have both though? A tiny ding isn't a big deal.

i do have both, im keeping one.
the one for sale is the last one i posted pictures of. dont know what the stuff on the backplate is but im positive it can be buffed/polished off. if thats a problem , the other with the ding, has a cleaner plate.

TC-1000 motor can be replaced with a TC OEM top assembly correct? Think this 8 can handle 800 RMS by it's self? Probably sealed box. Do you think it would also beable to get reasonably loud on say 200 watts in a HT setup?
I see you have a96 blazer as well. How was the sq/spl with 2 of them? I'm really looking to keep clean bass in my truck without taking space. Right now I got a JBL Gti on 700RMS roughly and It sounds awsome but I can't fit all of my hunting shit in the back

those top assemblys will not work. the oems used a tc9 motor, iirc. these are tc2+.
they CAN handle 1kw a piece but you would have to be careful with the volume.
i love them in the truck , lol. sound great, get **** loud for what they are, but i just want something louder since i do have the room. i would say it would be good on 700wrms, but again , you just have to be careful.
