Had a similar problem with a dodge pick up. Under load it misfires and no power. At an idle everything was fine. Ended up being the catalytic was clogged. Ended up just punching it out and ran fine. If you can loosen your exhaust before the cat and might get lucky. Oh...it would also run good...

Better yet...try to find a double din with a 3way and a knob. Couple manufacturers have 1 or 2 but becoming extinct it seems.

Looking around on the rainbow site and found the rainbow amps. Never heard of them. Can't really find much on them. Any thoughts?? Looks like about 500 for the 4 channel seemed reasonable for something with rainbow on it. When I think rainbow speakers I think quality. Is it the same for the amps?

Nothing wrong with jl. What size you looking at? Sealed or ported? Which amp you looking at? I have 1 jl 10w3v3 on a arc 500 watt(rated) amp in a sealed box. I'm not a bass head guy but it puts out plenty for me. Haven't heard the PG subs but love the amps.
