This is more of a straight SQ sub. It is designed for really small enclosures. I haven't really listened to a W6 since the cones were black with the white JL lettering on the dust cap, so I really couldn't answer that question. Having said that, I don't think this sub would get as loud as the JL.

Only trades I would consider is for a pair of 12 or 15s that run IB, ms8 or pxeh660, or small footprint amps. Would have to work out additional terms if they are worth more or less than the sub. Sorry, can't do the watch as it doesn't help me complete my system in my new ride.
