Daisy chain front and rear speakers, or connect at the Amp?

Bridging f/r door speakers isn't half ass. Not all use the fader or have an unlimited budget. I don't know what "bare minimum" is. The amp has pretty good power at 4ohm. At two ohms, it should be more. And, if the a crossover is being used at the amp, it takes considerably less power to...

Daisy chain front and rear speakers, or connect at the Amp?

A parallel connection can be made at the speakers or at the amp. Since the OP is using 2 channels bridged to the subwoofer, he'll run his front/rear speakers in parallel.

2020 Elantra amp and sub recommendations?

Its not rocket science. If you have the powered sub, USE IT. If you find out that it isn't enough, then come back with a budget for your sub upgrade. Did you already replace the door speakers already? Since I am not a thumbing basshead annoying my neighbors, I find that the underseat...

Best recommended three way 6"x9" speaker..

Just tossing in bunches of speakers everywhere doesn't fix anything or even sound good I'd recommend you find a shop for a quality install recommendation and go from there. Custom made box for small subs behind the seat... you already have K2 in the doors.... no need for forward 5x7's...

    Would it be worth upgrading

Hear? What someone hears depends on their ears. You can here a difference when numerous cheap amps self destruct with the volume turned up, and a quality amp keeps on running. Once you've dealt with warranty issues, or lack of support, you'd be willing to pay more. Alibaba amps, with some...

    Would it be worth upgrading

Quality costs money. JL is great stuff but not for the walmart shopper. That 400w-500w, unregulated and dependent on available voltage at the amp, obviously isn't enough for your intentions. I don't think it would be significant. I will assume that the sub is in a proper box, vehicle...

    Speaker help.

The capacitor on either is the bass blocker for the tweeter. Shouldn't be affecting anything else. Don't swap or add capacitors. The cap is spec'd for the tweeter. Without it, the tweeter simply blows. Get some door speakers to match, and enjoy your nightmare. BTW, will take 20hrs for...

    Speaker help.

What are the uF on that left/right dash speaker capacitor? Since I can't tell from the photos, is that cap inline with the little tweeter, the bigger 2.7" cone, or both? Or is the L/R tweeter only, or coaxial? Center sounds like a midranger. 2ohm speaker in that size is rare. CDT...

    Speaker help.

Measure the resistance of your stock side dash speakers to get an idea about their impedance. With harman/jbl/infinity/levinson.... never assume. Different ohm rating is NOT the end all. A combination of speaker capability, efficacy, efficiency, and its impedance will determine whether...

    Replacing dvc door speakers

Most common DVC speakers are subwoofers. The only other option is to carve the door and use 2 speakers. Or, find a DSP that can combine signals, and feed the processing to a good amp.
