yes it does 3 way active. This is an awesome unit. also has usb input. I am running a cd7000 active and it is working awesome. To the person asking about the owners manual; you can find it on the eclipse web site.

as the title reads. somewhere around 400 rms at 2 ohms. will be powering an ID 10" sub. Thanks fellas.

It cant be that hard. I mean brake lights and **** are grounded to the chassis. try a strut tower in the rear or like kyle said make a ground run to the battery, but that's going to cost more obviously for a potentially easy fix.
