I run a 4480 at .7 with very little voltage drop on stock electrical. Just big 3. I do have a factory 175 amp alt. I would install it honestly and just see what kind of voltage drop you get and go from there

XFL with 4480 is win for the money. IMO buy a DSO NANO scope for 75$ to go with it. The sub will eat 1800 watts clean all day and sound good. I am currently running my 4480 at .7 and getting 2650 watts out of it clean set with a scope

I have a AB 4480.1 hooked up in my 2013 Fusion that has touch with nav. My only complaint was the bass tends to fall off at anything over half on the volume. I bought a Lc2i which seemed to solve that. Btw the reverse camera vibrates so bad. If you figure out how to make it stop let me know.

You could take a multimeter and see if you have continuity between your individual speaker wire and ground. Simply take one lead and touch the wire, touch the other lead to the door or whatever preferably bare metal. Set the meter to ohms and it should read ol or open line. If it is a short in...
