    cardboard fiberglass?

is it ok to use cardboard instead of a fabric to fiberglass over? most of the box is wood and i just need 2 panels to curve and fit to the sub. i keep hearing that fabric will sag too much and i need cardboard so i was just going to go that way i am thinking... any comments would be useful

What happend to car audio? My little rant

$10 ground that i had to re-drill =/ (gave me a screw washer and nut... and drilled a hole and put anti corrosive stuff on it) so.... i dont really like local shops.. i think the installs should be free just because im buying it from you and not offline..

    Quick ?

use terminal cups.... just make sure there are no air gaps.... unless you want a lot of work if you ever want to get the box out or re wire it... just caulk it up.

Noob in need of help please!

you can try to open up your amp and see if anything is broken off (maybe where the rca cables are supposed to connect to the board) and solder it back into place, and same for the wire just solder some new ends on it or, re run the cable(take apart the panels where you can get to the wire and...

kenwood X1200M power at 1 ohm?

i looked on kenwoods website and they said that the exalon 1200watt could be wired stable at 1 ohm but posted no specifications on what kind of power it produces. 800 @ 4 ohm 1200 @ 2 ohm ???? @ 1 ohm ------------------------------ if someone could give me a rough estimate at to how much...

New to systems, could use advice as to where to start first

go browse crutchfeild.com for some subs they usually have pretty good deals on some stuff. as to what you should get do you want 2 subs if so then match up wiring plan and the subs rms's to the amp that would power them the best without being overkill/expensive .(500 rms @ 4 ohm into 2 300 watt...

    blown sub

no its all wired good. the 2 8ohms were in parallel with each other and the single 4 ohm in series. so i took the broken speaker out and now i just have a single 8 ohm and that 4 ohm wired the same and sound great still just minus one speaker.

    blown sub

well one box all seperate air spaces and it was one of the 8 ohm one's that blew not the 4 ohm wired in series with itself to a 8 ohm load
