FYI...I checked the screws and everything is holding fine....this grill doesnt allow full excursion. I wouldn't recommend it for this Dayton sub

Been enjoying my sub...the sub is flexing well amd starting to hit the grill when it hits decently hard. Do you have a little deeper grill that you can recommend?

I just ramped up the volume a bit...this thing sounds unbelievable.  Annihilates my 8"...you were right!  I can feel it throughout my body at 75mph.😎  At what point is she broken in?

This sub is very clean sounding.  What should I set both amps' crossovers at to get best blend?  At 80hz and +24 db currently.

@Jeffdachef Added 1lb of acoustifil...it's definitely well sealed.  Wired it up for 2ohm and got her playing on medium volume with 8awg power to break it in and it definitely hits ALOT deeper!😀   It's very noticeable...cant wait until I get the 4awg ran tonight.

Well said!  I was going to put caulk around the wire terminal to seal it.  Is it ok to mount the sub tonight with the silicone drying?  Read that the silicon fumes could hurt the sub...

The pine would've saved $25, but it was 5 ply and had alot more voids.  Home depot would only make 2 cuts and no angled cuts that were needed for the angled back.  I would've had to buy a saw...so I elected to pay $40 to a carpenter for good cuts.  I forgot to add the $15 cost of the universal...

Thanks...I decided to hold off on spending more $ on the twk88.  I'm going to try and adjust the crossovers and polarity to try and blend everything.  I carpeted my box tonight....definitely messy and doesnt look great up close.  Tough to get perfect seams.

When you say that the dayton is more advanced, are you implying the dayton offers more advanced tuning?  Or are you implying that the TWK-88 software is more intuitive and easier to use and they both do the exact same thing?
