i never heard of a software update either but you can make sure the ipod software is up to date.

is the 420 plugged into the right spot on the d310 brain? is the ipod turned on before you plug it in? is the ipod locked? i have the d310 with the 420 and i always make sure the ipod is on (screen lit up not playing music) and i just plug it in. make sure you're going into the cd changer...

this was all kind of win! the way the roof flexed some much, lol

so when using both 1/0 and 4awg in the same run i would assume you would fuse to the 4awg rating or do you need to run a fuse at the battery then fuses after the distribution block?
