Heat is one of the worst enemies for audio equipment. I would play the amps for awhile and see how much heat they are giving off. Then i would decide if i want to ruine it with enclosing it. With mounting it fluse its basicaly puting a blanket it on it and the air flow is deminished...

Well to get the most out of your amp you are going to bridge it. Now wiring your subs is pretty easy to. You are going to connect the positives from both subs to the proper + on the amp. Next take both -'s and do the same, this is called parrallel wiring. You are now giving the amp a 4 ohm...

Dynamate, noise killer, insulation, you have to do that everywhere in the car. trunks can be hard, but if you do it right that rattle will be gone, and SQ will increase. The rattling is the air being tossed around in your trunk, the dynamate will deflect that and be absorbed. Nothing sounds...

yes it is always good for an amp to be over rated. The amp is said to be 360 x 1 @ 4 ohms. Your getting 584. Now this amp will get HOT and I mean HOT, well actually all Fosgates that I have seen and used get HOT, keep it in a well vented area and dont enclose it, or cover it. Good luck

also just to add maybe something you coulda over looked, you did run the RCA's and power lead away from each other. But chances are you got a bad ground
