Not sure I would just look at back speakers in back of trunk , if they say “ELS” on the back , I would assume there’s an amp somewhere , but not sure where. I can’t find much on YouTube about acuras

Ok thanks I’ll look into if this can be done at reasonable priced or at all in a Acura with ELS system , I know some cars that come with stock amps are troublesome 😂

Is it better to go with same ohms as stock and just higher wattage? Any recommendations? Acura now have 10 speaker 490 watts stock system now with 25 watts 4ohm speakers , would going with 65-100w at same olms and getting better tweeters make it louder and clearer , already added a 500 watt sub .

Got it , LOC black wire actually needed to be grounded . Every video I watched said said it doesn’t and that’s just to reduce noise but apparently that wasn’t true Thanks everyone

Ok thanks a lot I thought only remote wire need to go from loc to amp only because auto sense would kick in / recognize and turn amp on /off

It’s power acoustik rzr1-2500d amp I installed it previously on 2 other cars and worked perfectly but had a aftermarket radio with rca slots , no loc was used then

last night I attempted to hook up amp and sub to car only to notice the amp didn’t power on at all, tried tapping into only 1 rear speaker side instead of 2. Checked ground , power , sand the ground of paint. Any idea what would cause this issue ? Only issue i can think of now I thought about...
