yeah...definatly go with the 6.5 (which is stock speaker size for a camry...I own one). But do NOT get rid of your 6x9's...they are one of the nice features of a camry with stock fit for a 6x9 speaker, and you CAN hear them you just think you can't...believe me you'll notice a complete lack of...

I own the 8400, and I love it, its a great headunit, especially SQ wise...(to me at least ;-)) so if you are looking into a new one I'd recommend that one, you won't have any regrets. The only thing I regret about it is not getting the Premier 940...I don't know why but I started to like that...
