just thought I would update this for some reason a year later lol. Best buy turned everything up and i mean all the knobs on the amp everything. That is why the sub blew *********. I will never have best buy install anything!

So sundown is probably best sub i can get for the money huh? Is it wierd or good that no one else has really chimed in about any other subs besides sundowns.

No really I wasnt saying that I heard that their subs were junk. i just htought I read somewhere that they make better amps than subs. I simply asked a question. I am truely interested in them just want to know more before I drop a thousand dollars on them. And i would really like to know how...

what size of a box do the sundown sa 12's need

For reason i remember hearing that sundown makes great amp but not the best subs is this true or am I mistaken?

Im just one of those people i guess that like to hear what Im getting. Maybe im wierd. Ive watched some youtube videos but i hate watching them for subs as all of them sound the same a whole bunch of muffle through the mic on the camera lol.

Does anyone in the des moines, omaha, or kc area have sundown subwoofers. I would love to hear them play. Or if you have a system that can be achieved for about 1000 for subwoofers, amp and box and you live in the area. I would love to hear what you have. I am wanting to compete.
