It stopped the back bulkhead of my Chevy crew cab from rattling when the bass hit after I installed it. According to you, it must have been the BASS fairy that did it? It worked for me. Don't be mad that you spent too much on sound deadener.

No, not asphalt based. IT has aluminum on both sides, not asphalt. Looks just like this without the brand name on it

go to lowes or home depot in the insulation department. I bought a roll that is 15 in by 25 ft for 15 dollars. about a quarter inch thick. They also have 3m spray on adhesive too. 25 bucks, and I did my whole back wall of my truck, with tons left over for at least 2 doors, and 3/4 of a can...
