Thanks. I understand the loss of HU control vs adjusting at amp....is there a loss of voltage/signal quality from "y splitter" or is that actually better for signal/noise than 15 more feet of a 3rd set RCA's?

Hello all. My HU has 6 preamp out but rather than running 3 sets RCA's, is there an advantage/dis (other than having control at HU) to running 2 sets and splitting one at the amp via Y adaptor for front/rears....and 2nd RCA for sub? Would the crossovers be better in a Kenwood Excelon head unit...
