Actually I run a pair of 8's, sound great, nice & tight. IMHO they sound better than my old JL 10's.

Don't worry about the birth sheet, I found out at soundbuggy that all the x600.1 do 800+rms. The earlier models used generic birthsheets so they don't reflect the real RMS, hope this helps.
