its the way the capture sensor in your recording device captures the video by scanning side to side which causes the visual artifact. If they were out of phase there would be alot of movement with not much sound
Are you using an auto turn on? or a dedicated switched remote turn on? this sounds like the behavior of an auto turn on circuit causing the amp to power on cause of a dirty signal and your subs pop cause it has a turn on pop cause you have the gain set to high which would also cause the protect...
something was wired wrong because the sub on the right is having waay more excursion than the one on the left in the video and its looks like you were reaching the mechanical limit on excursion.
if you have a clear path that is closer to equidistant the better, depending on the drivers off axis response and assuming legs and other **** aint in the way
if you have a 4ohm dvc sub you can bridge 4 channels into 2 and use each of the 2 bridged channels to each voice coil. play a test tone and make sure the voltages are exactly matched per bridged channel
