Are their people who believe in capacitors still? I thought everyone who knew anything knew they were useless. Not downing the write up from the op, just curious.

I guess i need to be more specific when using words with multiple meanings. :/ I was referring more to the voltmeter itself. But i guess thats also a good question, does the g of the wire matter for the meter? I dont really think it does but im not a pro.

I am not too worried about the price to be honest. I know how much it costs to let things go wrong and then have to repair them, so imo its well worth it for a preventative measure. I had one beefed up a few years back at a machine shop and it cost 160$ so its worth it in the long run.

Is there a suggested gauge to run? Or somewhere good to purchase them from?

Ok well imagine the water pump as being the alternator. If its only designed to pump say 100g/hr then regardless of the size of pipes it will only flow 100g/hr.
