    Best lithium for 14.6-15.3V charging

Damn, dude. Glad you made it.

    Best lithium for 14.6-15.3V charging

People have talked about mixing cells to balance C ratings and AH ratings. So it's working for you, then?

    Best lithium for 14.6-15.3V charging

That's a possibility. Mechman sells +0.5V plugs. Then the concern would be that 15.8 might burn up the electronics. But if it worked, that would be an easy way to access LTO. Edit: That's a nice truck in your sig. You still driving it?

    Best lithium for 14.6-15.3V charging

Damn, that explains why the Plannanos are hot right now. That all agrees with what I've read. And yeah, the Na ion pre-built I linked above is like 40 Ah 10C so pretty similar to the Yinlongs overall. The only thing about the Yinlongs that concerns me is that 14.8 only gets me to 50% full...

    Best lithium for 14.6-15.3V charging

Hmm...my post might have been confusing. I am saying that sodium ion is the one to use if you're charging low 15's. Not either of the Li ion options. It was an attempt to explain why the Li options don't work at 15.3. you're either way over voltage or way under.

    Best lithium for 14.6-15.3V charging

So here is the answer to my own question: sodium ion batteries like this one. The charging voltages are right there and include the 14.8-15.3 range. Note to anyone who finds this thread via a search: There are basically two Li options in the universe right now. Batteries that require you to...

Flip out stereo that is bigger than 7 inches??

As others have said, motorized retractable units can only be so wide. This is what I use. 10.1" screen. Not saying I would recommend it, but you can get non-motorized units that are quite big.

Another piece of cool equipment I've got is the Apt Holman preamp. That's running the other GFA 555. Only downside there is I've got to use a third party DAC to get an optical input converted to analog, since the AH is like...50 or 60 years old at this point. It's funny to me that an optical...

Hopefully those pics came through. Couple shots of th Adcom by itself and one with a Sony preamp / amp that was real nice in its day.

    Best lithium for 14.6-15.3V charging

Question as per the title. Thinking the answer is LTO, even though my charging voltage can only get them to between 40-75% SoC. Can't go 5s as that charges at 14, but 6s charges at like 16.8 which is way above where I'm at. What do you guys do? The voltage range is what I observe under max load...

    Voltage Drop Through ANL Fuse

There is a saying in Chinese: many people who drown already knew how swim. Question though. If you were losing 0.4V across the fuse holder that would seem to imply the fuses in the holder were slightly fried. That could indicate a minor short somewhere (like 1 filament of + wire occasionally...

Will a High Output Alternator Fry my car's Electrical System?

I'm late to this discussion but the water analogy typically used to explain current (flows from high potential to low, potential differences can be used to do work, etc) goes only so far. In particular Bernoulli's principal doesn't really make sense for electrical current. Current is...

From what I've read, that's typical of Pass's style. Minimal circuitry, basically. They are not gain blocks, as I can see with the GFAs, but all the old reviews indicate really low distortion (and flat frequency response) at rated power, basically as "transparent" as you can get. I appreciate...

What did you think? I would happily buy a GFI 4702 or 4600 right now and take it to get refurbed if necessary.

Battery, DOWN4SOUND | JP-2HC - Hybrid Capacitor, or NVX XCAP10H True 10 Farad Stiffening Hybrid Capacitor

Honestly I would try it without electrical upgrades first. In my experience sometimes factory electrical is good enough to run 1500 watts, especially since you won't really be getting that power in daily conditions. You'd need to have your volume up so high that your 4 channel and your sub amp...
