So it seems that modern head units don't play CD's any more. Is there a way to record a CD onto a USB flash drive? I have a lot of discs...
Agreed. I've stopped ripping CDs, even though I have another ~300 that I haven't ripped yet. I have a subscription to LiveX, which is one of the cheaper ones, IIRC, $45/year.Windows media player could rip a cd in 2004.
I don't know what your time is worth, but for me it's more practical to get a subscription that offers unlimited access and downloads. I use youtube music.
I love cd hunting so I still rip fairly oftenAgreed. I've stopped ripping CDs, even though I have another ~300 that I haven't ripped yet. I have a subscription to LiveX, which is one of the cheaper ones, IIRC, $45/year.
Maybe we will get lucky and cd's will go up like vinyls did.Agreed. I've stopped ripping CDs, even though I have another ~300 that I haven't ripped yet. I have a subscription to LiveX, which is one of the cheaper ones, IIRC, $45/year.
My car's stock HU doesn't have USB but it does have an Aux port. I plug an MP3 player into it.There are still a few people that I know still use the good old Ipods for music and use the Aux port
Pretty much any cd burning program will have an option to burn music cds. In the Napster days I burnt a lot of mp3 to music cds to play in my carI wonder if you can "rip" the other way and turn MP3's into something that plays on a CD drive?
There was this place called Second Spin by me old house and they had great deals on CDs, especially used. I used to spend a few hours a week hunting for CDs in there. They had a nice return policy too - full credit for the CD for ~1 week; used that return a NickleBack CD. That was a good policy considering you could rip a copy of the CD and bring it back. They also had 6 listening stations set up if you wanted to check out the CD before buying. Probably buying~10 CDs a month until that place closed.I love cd hunting so I still rip fairly often
I go to a used book store that sells cds $20 for a grocery bag fullThere was this place called Second Spin by me old house and they had great deals on CDs, especially used.
