Moderators If this is in the wrong forum please advise and I will move I recently upgraded the system in my 2020 Mitsubishi dual cab ute. While it is a HUGE improvement over stock there are a few issues with fading and balance, 2 and four channel switching Before I take it back to the installer I would like to know where the issues are so I can maybe help get it sorted fast rather than have them try and work it out while I wait for a couple of hours To cut the installer some slack, I was running late when I picked it up, pushed them to finish the install and left without a full system test. Advice and where to look would be appreciated Car: 2020 Mitsubishi Triton duel cab ute System: Head unit: Stock 2019/20 Mitsubishi 7.5 touch screen head unit with Carplay etc Amp: Pioneer CM-D8704 2-3-4 Channel 1200w Front speakers: Focal Access 165AS components with separate cross overs Rear: Kicker CSC65 Co-ax Sub: Kicker hideaway 150s 11HS8 Sound deadening through out doors, floor and roof to come. Problems: When set to 2 channel

When fading to front rear stays working with no effect to overall fad
When fading to rear, both front and rear fade out completely
I have been running it with full fade to the front
Overall it sound great though When set to 4 channel:

When fade centred it plays all speakers but stereo separation disappears
[I assume this is because the speaker hook up has set the front right and rear left and the front left and rear right as pairs so cancelled out the audible stereo separation]
When balanced to right, rear speakers fade to nothing
When balanced to left, front speakers fade to nothing
When fade to front, Plays front left and rear right with good stereo separation diagonally across the car
When fade to rear, Plays front right and rear left with good stereo separation diagonally across the car
Sub woofer works well at either 2 of 4 channel setting Yes, I am taking it back to the installer but if I can help with a solution it will speed up the fix. Cheers
