I have two MTX FPR subs (SVC) each in their own sealed enclosure. The enclosures I have are the MTX branded ones already with terminals. I know I can wire them as 2 Ohm by bridging the subs (Positive to Positive, Negative to Negative) than out to my amp which is a 500 RMS @ 2 ohm amp. My question is instead of drilling holes in the sealed boxes or adding a seperate set of terminals could I just jump a wire from the terminals in one to the other and then the speaker wire to the amp just out of one enclosures terminals as well? Or would that result in still result in 4 ohms?
