Hello, yesterday was local dB Drag competition. I tryed my luck and my record was 143.0dB with two Alpine Type R 12" powered by Alpine MRD-M1005 1000W rms @ 2Ohms. I was playing soundtrack. Box is 5 cu.ft, tuned to 40Hz calculated by subwoofertools. What you guys think about this? Can I get more dB with same amp? Maybe this amp is too weak for two type r's ? Maybe if I would tune box to 50Hz and play one freq. I would make more dB's? What is your record with two Type R's? Waiting for your comments Box photo:
