question, lets say the 0-1500 novice class. is that clamped or lets say u have a cab1600.1 would you not be able to enter the 0-1500 class? or if the cab isnt putting out over 1500 watts because of box rise and lower volts and your running like 1460 clamped. would you be able to enter that class?

reason i ask is because im pretty sure i can smash 141db.

my other question is lets use the cab1600.1 as an example. could you enter a higher watt class? like the 1600-3000 class?

some of those numbers just look a little low to me. is that because not alot of people entered? or is that around the average number for such an event?

ive never competed before but have always wanted to. and after looking at those numbers i think i would have a shot. ive had 3 sealed 12's and a 1000 watt amp stock alt and 4 gauge wire hit 146. i have never metered any of my other setups, so i compare my other ones ive had based of that setup. im thinking a 1600 watt amp, better subs, better wire and bats with a ported box it should be louder but im not sure because it will have one less 12

AMPLIFIERS DEFINED:

One amplifier is considered one power supply, one system board, driving 1 or 2 channels. A 3-4-channel amp would be

considered two amplifiers. A 5-6-channel amp would be considered three amps and so on.

A car audio system’s total wattage shall be determined by the highest manufacturer published RMS power rating @ 14.4

volts or lower. If an amplifier does not have a rating at 14.4v or lower rating then the next highest published rating will be

used. If any amplifiers rating cannot be determined, that amplifier will be moved to the highest power class in that division

until a power rating can be determined. USACI reserves the right to independently test any amplifier to determine the true

RMS power rating and reclassify that amplifier as needed.

what if you have a scv1500 and it does 1506 clamped? can you be in the 0-1500 class? i wish they clamped every class. would make this simpler
