i plan on adding another battery to help my hifonics brutus 2000 get the power it needs, before i turn it up to its full potential when the hdc318 finally breaks in.....i will either be adding a yellow top, or a kinetik hc800 in the back....is there any special way to connect the rear battery....does it need fuses,etc....?

ok thanks....how big of a fuse do yall recommend.....the wiring kit came with a 300a anl fuse...but i doubt i need one quite that big.......so i need 3 fuses all together???

the two between the batteries go as big as you can to reduce resistance and the one between the back batt and the amp go with w/e is recommended for the amp

That should tell you everything you need to know right there. Fuse size depends on the wire. You are going to need to figure out the capacity of your wire and use a fuse no bigger than that value. So if you wire is rated up to 300A, you need to buy 300A fuses.

What would happen if didnt add the last 2 fuses?

you would be risking your equipment.

I only get a few now and then. Usually just people thanking me for helping out figure out their issue. I don't sell or buy anything here, so that might be a reason.

It might be because I am an ******* //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

That’s the little single 6.5 inch enclosure. The Savard did just as well as the RDS. These subs do well in ported or 6th orders but not as well...

It is a little overkill with the batteries, but underkill with the alternator. Ideally, you want an alternator that will keep up with your system...
