i have an Alpine CDA-7894 cd player with 3 sets of preouts. i hooked the sub's amp up to the rear output because the sub outputs werent long enough. when i got some free time i hooked it up correctly and now i get almost no bass with the sub output on the deck at +15. When i turn the front and rear speakers bass down the sub goes down also. when i put a high pass filter or low pass filter on it makes the bass quieter. does anyone have suggestions? i have all the wires hooked up correctly. my old reciever worked great and made the sub thump like a mofo so i am pretty sure it isnt the sub or amp. Could it be the 4V preouts? could the amp not be able to handle it? Thanks
