does any one know how to wire a external relay for an auxuilary output to the brain of an alarm/ remote start? alarm in question is delta pro 5005.

relays are very simple, if ur using a SPST those are very easy, explain more on what components your trying to switch and what relay your using.

i want to wire the trunk release to the aux output of the alarm and i was told i would need a relay, and wire it to the brain of the alarm i dont know what relay to use. im a beginner

dont know about the alarm, but you need to know whether the output from the alarm is a positive voltage or a ground. Then you need to wire the opposite of that to the other side of the coil inside the relay. Then you need to put the source to the input of the relay and the trunk latch to the output of the relay.
