alarm relays

depends on what you want it to do. So what do you want the auxillary channel to do ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i want to wire the trunk release to the aux output of the alarm and i was told i would need a relay, and wire it to the brain of the alarm i dont know what relay to use. im a beginner

dont know about the alarm, but you need to know whether the output from the alarm is a positive voltage or a ground. Then you need to wire the opposite of that to the other side of the coil inside the relay. Then you need to put the source to the input of the relay and the trunk latch to the output of the relay.
