Alpine Type S or Type R

What would sound better in a Firebird / Camaro Stealth box (the small rear side well box) The Alpine type S or Type R or something else?

i have heard both the type s and type r, the only difference should be the power output, to me that wasnt the only difference. the type r's sound much better, just check the dimensions of the stealth box, that will help u make ur decision. try to pick subs that fit the interior dimensions of it

The Type R's are good subs IMO. I'd take that over the S any day. The type r's can work in really small boxes too so that shouldn't be a problem.

OK, so then what is better in that price range, in a such a small enclosure?

pends if u buy in store or online. everyone has different sound preferences sum will say jl sounds better others will say alpine does. best bet go to a car aduio store and listen
