It really just depends on your needs, your budget, your speakers(their impedence), and exactly what you expect from your system.

Me personnally I favor a Mono amp setup. What is it that you are planning on doing, what amps do you have in mind as well as subs. If youre going to run speakers on an amp, I would recomend you get a 2 channel for 2 speakers
