Are components worth it?

I'm thinking of adding some components to the set up I have now. Right now I have 4 Boston Acoustic 746 component plate speakers with a Kenwood KAC-8401 amp powering them. The Bostons are some very loud/clear/crisp speakers, and it's amazing seeing as how they are only 4x6's. For subs I'm running 4 12" Type R's in a custom bandpass box with a RF 1501bd. My HU is an Alpine CDA-9815. This is in a standard cab full size Chevy truck.

So today while I was getting my power doors adjusted I asked about getting some Boston Acoustic ProSeries 6.5's. He said he could do me a deal... the Boston 6.5 Pros, an Alpine V12 MRV-F340 amp (or a Kenwood KAC-7251 or something like that to match the other Kenwood for $100 less or something), custom kick panels made for the Bostons, all the wiring, and everything installed/warranted for $760. Is it worth getting the components, will there be that much of a difference in sound?
