some screwy things have been happening as of late. when i try to start my truck it just clicks and then nothing. i try again a few times right after and it makes no sound. my headlights nor my domelight dont work. i unplug my stereo from the batt (i have a single 1/0 ga going to a dist block) and wait about 20 min and then t starts fine.

well today i replaced my stock batt with an optima yellow top. plugged everything in including my stereo and it started no prob the first time. this was like 6 hrs ago. just now i tried to start it up and it didnt happen! is it my alternator or maybe my starter, or something different? im going to get a much better alternator but gotta wait until next paycheck if not the one after.

i have 2 amps, 1 for subs 1400w rms, 1 for components 400w rms. fuse ratings are 120a and 50a. ive been running the subs for just under 2 months. could this have fked my 80a stock alternator? please help, thanks.

Sounds to me like your amps are drawing power from the battery all the time and draining it. Doesn't sound like an alt problem b/c the battery is draining when the truck isn't started. And you said that your old battery worked after you disconnected the amps and let the battery gain some charge. I'm no expert in this area, but seems like the only possible culprit.

Did you properly connect the romote on wire from your HU to the amps?.

Sounds like an obvious question but many people just use a jumper from the + terminal to the remote on terminal thinking thats the proper way to do it, it will work but the amps will draw current all the time this way, killing your battery.

I'm not an expert on Lithium by any means. All I can say is I've played my system for about 2 hours at about half volume(20/36 on the headunit)...
