Boot Rattles like hell

Ive got a Kicker Solobaric L7 15" in my boot with a 1.3cuft box. it has about 400WRMS going into it.

My boot lid rattles excessively because the boot is airtight. is it a good idea to put holes in the rear shelf so the sub can vent into the cabin?

what size boots are those? How the hell did you fit an L7 in it?

"Boot" is Brit or Aussie for "trunk" lol.

You need to dampen the things that rattle. It can be a real pain to make it stop. Venting the boot to the cabin might make the bass louder but it won't stop vibrations. Sorry, thre's no easy solution for this.
