bypassing protection

heh, too late... its actually quite simple in an amp. im just trying to find the circuit now so i can jump it out. i think ill prolly be able to find it. its just a matter of time. and if i break something... oh well, it was free, and my rear deck speakers put out nearly the amount of bass i can get before it trips //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Just an update. I ended up replacing the amplifier (eclipse XA1000) with a new-old stock amp of the same specs and it fixed my issue.
