bypassing protection

is there any way to bypass the overcurrent protection circuit on a sony amp? i got the amp for free, and it keeps trippin the circuit. i dont care about the amp or how much it draws. is there any way i can go in and run a jumper(im good with electronics, just dont know if its actually possible.

heh, too late... its actually quite simple in an amp. im just trying to find the circuit now so i can jump it out. i think ill prolly be able to find it. its just a matter of time. and if i break something... oh well, it was free, and my rear deck speakers put out nearly the amount of bass i can get before it trips //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
