Calling all JEEP CHEROKEE owners (not grand cherokee)

Anyone with a later model Jeep Cherokee install components in their Jeep? Im curious as to where you installed your tweeters. Im thinking install them above the door lock controls. I dont think theres enough room in the sail panels to install 1" tweeters. I dont want to buy kickpanels right now, maybe down the road.

When I get components, I am going to install them in the stock tweeter mounting area, it is a sweet little spot, I was happy to find it. Mines an '88.

I was thinking of mounting mine on the dash, next to the windows theres about a 4 inch flat spot on each side that might work. I own a 99

spend a little time and money, and build yourself a set of doorpanels, or at least the bottom half of the stock door panels. jeeps speaker location isnt exactly ideal, and those are really easy to work on. it'll probably cost you about $100 in supplies (bondo, fiberglass, vinyl or carpet, and other misc stuff) and take you 2 or 3 days tops if you have some time, but well worth the end result.
