dB tester...

Hey, does anyone know where i can get a dB tester other than one on amp which ain't very good.. which is pretty accurate and ain't bad for price? I hear most of them are pretty dear, so anyone got a second hand one maybe? :thumbsup

you mean, like a decibel meter...aka mic? well, an accurate one is gonna run ya at least $600, honestly. Radio shack makes a POS one that is only good to about 120 db's or sumthing shitty like that. But yeah...check out termpro.com if ur really interested. peace

Just enter a comp in your local area, or bring it up to local car audio shop, even if it's a 30 mile drive still way cheaper than buying one. I don't know if you need it for anything besides testing your setup, but that $600(or $300 used) could go towards something a lot more important than a mic.
