If it is was purchased from an authorized dealer with a retail store, I say no.

if you bought online, whether authorized or not, you will probably have to pay for shipping to them.

If you bought it from them, then I think they should pay for shipping(this is 1 of the perks of buying authorized). The local shop always pays shipping for somebody if they bought the item there(and it will be under a warranty repair).

Now, if you bought it authorized from a website like Elemental Designs, you would have to pay shipping to them(the price is somewhat lower from them since you are essentially dealing directly with the manufacturer).
