Does any one know were i can buy or wat the instrument is called that shows how many decibels your system gives off?

It's called a sound level meter. There's tons of them on eBay all the time. Or go to Radio Shack, they have one too.

From what I have heard(on this forum) those Radioshack meters ****. They only read up to 120 or 130 db.

I was actually just at Radio Shack looking for a sound level meter. They've got two, one digital ($49.99) and one not digital ($34.99) --they both read up to 126 db.

Trust me,you wont find a QUALITY meter like this anywhere else.

trust me (being like the previous 3 posts), unless your hosting a compeition or will charge people to see what db they hit, or if u're just a baller and don't care - look elsewhere

buy the new audiocontrol epicenter-160 in dash half din it has a volt meter and db meter bulit in got mine already works getand the db meter read up to 160db s
