detecting + and - terminals on a tweeter

how will you know the + and - terminals on a tweeter?

the wires on my tweeters are both black (its weird)

any ideas?

i know on speakers just put a 1.5v battery and see how it will pump up. but how about on tweeters?

it doesn't really matter which one is which. you can't blow a speaker by reversing polarity.

No, you can get cancellation, but you would notice it, and then you just reverse one of the tweets. Just play around with it.
