I've got the 5-channel version of this coming to me in the mail. Did you ever use a dmm to figure out exactly how much you were getting in power per channel?

When I was setting my gains with the scope and meter connected together with a 4 ohm load (my highs). I got right around 48W RMS into 4 ohms AT APPROX. 12.5V WITHOUT ANY clipping at all on the scope! I would say this amp would do above its rated at 14V.

These amps are very under rated. I ran an EA3532 for a while. It was rated at something like 120@2 on the sub channel. Output was above and beyond my Eclipse XA5000 which was rated for 420@2. The XA5000 was also under rated and had very nice quality Bang and Olufsen parts, but this older stuff was just monstrous.

In order to answer your question, I would need to know what model (e.g. SW4200, SW7524DVC). Also, are you looking to make a ported box or sealed?
