Two questions guys. HAs anyone tried the Eclipse Pro titanium? Or heard it. Also for all you guys out there who have eclipse head units (specifically the 8503) How do you like them. Also how are they with skip protection? The pioneer and sony models i have tried both skip insanely. Both are $399.99 retail and the eclispe is only a few hundred more but I have always liked there quality and ti regular subs. Anyway any feedback would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks,

Ed

I LOVE ECLIPSE. You will love titanium pros. My Eclipse head unit does not skip a beat. You do need to insure you attach the back strap (on all HU) or you will get skipping with massive bass. I do not know if you have heard of the OBCON GZ series enclosure. It was made just for the Eclipse Titanium. You can easily hit high 140's and maybe 150's Db with 2 12's with that enclosure and speaker combo.

I have had an Eclipse CD8053 since September or so. It hasn't skipped yet. Oh, and Eclipse just makes really nice sounding decks. I prefer Eclipse(this is my 4th) over any other brand I have owned.

Eclipse is the most popular brand we sell. Even though the 8053 doesnt have sub control in pro mode :thumbsdow

You can just go back to the other mode, adjust the sub control, and go back to pro mode. It isn't ideal, but it only takes a few seconds to do.

Eclipse is one of the best when it comes to skip prevention. I am on my third Eclipse deck and love it to death.

P.S. I am now the proud owner of a PPI DEQ-230! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I've been debating on the headunit for a while and that just seals the deal heh. But no one has heard the 15 Ti Pro's yet? the 3000w RMS not the reg ti that everyone seems to confuse it for.

In order to answer your question, I would need to know what model (e.g. SW4200, SW7524DVC). Also, are you looking to make a ported box or sealed?
