Hc Rms..?

Applying a true 1500wrms continuously that sub, it would take it for quite a while, but you'll never do that, so don't worry about it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Just because you have an amp that does a certain amount of power at the nominal impedence, doesn't mean you're getting that power. Impedence rise, the dynamics of music all bring down the actual power that the sub is getting.

When someone says, my amp is 1500wrms @ 1ohm, so my sub is getting 1500wrms cause it's a dual 2 and I wired it to 1ohm. That's not the case at all. What they are saying is, my amp, given the appropriate voltage @ that nominal impedence, will produce that much power.(obviously amps driven hard into clipping will produce more total power, definitely be aware of that) The sub is not actually getting that daily. Far from it in most cases(an exception would be SPL competitors specifically trying to drop the REACTIVE impedence, closer to the nominal load presented on the amp)

Someone needs to make an amp or device that would take measurements of the amperage, voltage and impedence so you could see a realtime graph/chart of how your sub is receiving power in your enclosure.

its usually distoration and clipping that will blow your subs
