::Help:: My amp won't cut off

I have a PPI a600. When I cut the radio and/or truck off, the amp light stays on. On my previous Rockford amp, the amp cut off when I turned the car off. For some reason, this one won't. If I take off the power wire, and put it back in, the amp stays off until the head unit comes back on. Any ideals on what's going on?

Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M
