hifonics bx1000d 0.5 ohm stable??

hey can anyone tell me if the HiFonics bx1000d can be wired to .5 ohm i have 2 jbl 12 inch 2 ohm dvc and if i wire in 4 ohms it says the amp only puts out around 250 rms but 1000rms at 1ohm but i cant wire my subs to 1 ohm so ya if anyones knows please let me know.

Yep, at the amplifiers. I get the same 14.7 volt reading when they cutoff too.

Pull it and test it at the battery post. Simple Power up test to verify if it powers up fine out of protect mode. if it does then Id be checking...

I have a Gemeni VII, Heucules VII, Pluto VII, and a Vulcan VII left out of a massive slew of VII and VIII series. They still work Excellent...

The way you had them before does not really pose a danger. On the contrary, they presented a higher Ohm load to the amp so the amp put out less...
