jbl 600.1.....reliable?????

i want to get a jbl mono amp 600 watts rms....are jbl amps reliable and how is it compared to a Rockford Fosgate 600 watt rms amp......which do u think would be better?????

I like em, used to have one and worked very well, probably choose it over a RF 500bd

they get kinda hot but are good for the price.

well my jbl1200.1 got hot but it was at 1ohm.

well, correect me if i'm wrong but a jvl makes jus as much powr at 2 ohms as it does at 1 ohm so i would run it in 2 ohm

yah it makes the same power at both. i had to run mine at 1ohm.

ive ran mine at 1 ohm for about a year now. Great amp, great price. downsides is theres no Subsonic filter and the Xover could be better.

I heard Hifonics Punch amps are POS. Actually my friend's friend's punch amp just went out on him.

i agree with capone. my 600.1 gives great power, just no features, but i dont care anyway. i run sealed and use my h/u's xovers anyway.
