JL 1000/1 or tantrum 1200.1

Which amp do I buy??? i am going to run 2 IDMAX 12's. JL good for all ohm ratings but I think i will need the extra power from the tantrum. 1000/1 $520 shipped and tantrum $330 Shipped. I need help quick!!!

1200.1 hands-down.

You'd be paying for the brand-name if you opted for the JL 1000/1. If you look around this forum, you'll notice that many of our members are quite satisfied with the PG 1200.1.

Also, I dunno if you've looked at the HiFonics b1500d. You can get that for around the same price as the PG and it is 1 ohm stable so if the ID maxes are dual 2 ohm, then imo, you have a killer setup.

Just my .02 USD.
