JL 10W3 vs. 2 10W0s

What is better: one 10W3 or two 10W0's? I don't know which to put in my car.

depends, if you are looking for just spl then I would go with the two W0s. If you want a good combination of sq/spl go with the 1 W3. The one 23 might even take the two w0s in spl. depending on power. If I remember correctly the 10 w0 takes about 100 watts where that w3 could take about 300.

the W3 takes 250W, and the W0s take 125W each, so it would be the same power with the same amp. But the W3 is better as far as SQ goes?

I would take the 10w3 or have you considered a 12/15w3? The W0's are alright but I prefer the other series. I hvae owned my share of W0's, 3 12's, 3 10's, 2 15's and I had 3 10w6 before as well.

I only have these two choices. I have two W0s in NY and a W3 in LA, and I don't remember what the W3 sounds like. I guess I'll switch them and hope the W3 is better. Thanks for the advice.
