JL Audio W7 Pricing?

I'm looking into a 12'' JL Audio W7 at a local shop. I don't want to get screwed though. What is a good/great price to pay for the W7?

Well, the W7 is really expensive. I live in Canada so our prices are even worse but I saw a single 12 W7 in a JL designed box for $1799 + tax. That is like 1300-1400 USD. Well that is a complete rip off IMO.

I hope the prices are cheaper in the USA.

You can probably get the 12w7 here for about 550 or so. maybe less.

I wouldn't pay over $350 b/c you can get other subs for that price.

I think in my town they run in the 550-650 range (gotta do some talking with them) If you let them know you are looking at other HQ subs then maybe they will give a little on the price. There is nothing a JL rep loves more than to sell as much JL stuff as possible. They will do just about anything.
