jl w3v2 or L5's.

my friend bot the jl's for his car, 2 12's and a sealed box for 600 buck's, and a alpine 1000wrms @2ohm amp for 700 buck's, so $1300, i told him he got porked and should bring it back,

he went there to buy 2 12 L5's and a kx1200.1 $500 for the subs and box, $600 for the amp, all on sale, $1100.

they told him that the jl w3v2's are way better then kicker L5's.

so what would you do bring that stuff back and get the kicker's or keep that other stuff, he also got a kenwood deck thats pretty nice and a free amp install kit.

I've personally heard the JL 12w3v2's and they are very nice sounding subwoofers. Also can get extremely loud.

I haven't heard the L5 but i doubt they're comparable SQ-wise.
