no. just go to kicker.com and get the kicker manual and u can see the best applications for the subs

not really, kicker uses only sealed enclosures on their comp vehicles, they think it is the best fit for thier subs, both spl and sq.

Um...no. Almost all competitors use sealed in a competition setup.

Ported is louder no matter the sub. Its Physics applied. However, feel free to reinforce your argument with documentation.
